For us, hair styles are about evolving.
We are constantly thinking of ways to try new ideas, while keeping a close eye on fashion and throwing in a bit of art for edge.
Communication is really important to us, we listen closely to what our clients are saying and what they envision, then we take great joy in making that a reality.
We also enjoy the lifestyle that the salon gives us. We get to talk to interesting people, create all sorts of unique styles, while working with our hand picked team of stylists who are all dedicated to creating great hair.
Our craft is extremely important to us, but so is a relaxed salon atmosphere. We have fun while colouring, cutting and styling the day away in our warm and bright warehouse salon conversion.
Our dream was to create a small team of diverse individuals, utilising natural and organic products.
We have managed to balance the natural and healthy with fashion and art.
At KOMO 3 we merge the polar opposites to create a unique approach to hair.
our name
KOMO 3, how did we get our name?
Well, it’s an abbreviated version of a Greek word, and to say this word in all its glory is to sound like a Greek goddess…
“Tria” in Greek refers to the number three. “Komotria” is Greek for Hairdresser.
We have one Greek goddess and 3 Aussies who could not really pronounce this word correctly and do it justice.
KOMO 3 is our happy and fun take on it. There you have it.
